IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS 

A meeting for returning band students 

will be held and a notice going home with

these students within the first couple weeks of  school.

4th grade students will be starting on recorder in

music class at the beginning of the school year,

so beginning band will not be starting

band until the beginning of October.

More will be sent home on beginning band class

towards the end of September.

Lesson days will remain the same as 

the schedule states below.  

Attendance requirements will be addressed

for this school year.

Please bring your child regularly and on time. 

Students need to attend lessons to progress steadily.

Please make sure all band students are 

practicing on a regular basis- practicing

20 minutes  a minimum of 4 days per week.

    OLR Band Schedule

2010-2011 

 Mondays: All Beginning Students- 7:50 a.m.

  Wednesdays: Advanced Band Students - 7:50 a.m.

     ***Please be early so you are on time for your lessons.***
